With a background in classical pastry training and years of experience creating custom desserts for clients throughout Southern California, Gabriela approaches every cake as both an artistic creation and a culinary experience.

Gabriela holds an Associate of Science in Baking and Pastry from the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu, where she received formal training in classical pastry techniques, baking science, dessert artistry, and professional kitchen operations.
Her education provided the technical foundation that supports the creativity behind Claudio Cakes, allowing her to combine precision baking with artistic cake design.

Gabriela founded Claudio Cakes in 2015, building the brand around a passion for beautifully crafted desserts and personalized client experiences.
Her professional pastry career began at Bottega Louie, where she worked in a fast-paced pastry environment and gained valuable experience in professional baking and dessert production.
She later continued her career at SusieCakes, further refining her skills in baking, cake preparation, and large-scale dessert production while working in a high-volume bakery setting.
These early professional experiences helped shape Gabriela’s approach to pastry—combining technical precision with creativity and attention to detail.
In addition to running Claudio Cakes, Gabriela also worked as a Pastry Instructor at South Bay School of Cooking in Redondo Beach, where she taught classes focused on baking techniques, cake decorating, and dessert preparation. Teaching allowed her to share her knowledge with aspiring bakers while continuing to refine her own craft
